I am using Joomla 3.0 with the JA Onepage template for my website. I am having an issue with my Portfolio in Internet Explorer 9. Once I click on one of my Portfolio items and the pop up window comes out, the rest of my website which is grayed out in the background, changes layout. This happens as soon as I move my mouse out of the pop up window or if I click on the pop up window buttons.
This only happens in Internet Explorer 9. I’ve tried it in Firefox and Google Chrome and it works fine. From what I gather, the website template in the background, changes its layout to match the pop up window layout settings. How can I fix this? Most of my clients use Internet Explorer and cannot view my website correctly.
Thank you for your help!

February 22, 2013 at 9:48 am #484249Hello scala design,
here is the screenshot of your site on my IE 9. As you see, i do not see the problem. Please re-check and confirm the same.
Regards.
February 23, 2013 at 2:57 am #484276The problem only occurs once you move your mouse away from the portfolio pop up window or once you click the “prev” or “next” buttons at the bottom of the pop up window. Could you try that and let me know what you think?
Thanks!

February 28, 2013 at 2:44 am #484820Hello scala design,
I tried many times with all cases you mentioned but no problem faced. Layout was displayed normally. Could you send me some problem screenshots for more clarifications?
Regards.

March 3, 2013 at 10:13 am #485155I have seen this problem too and would very much like to find a solution. I am using Onepage under Joomla 2.5
Attached are 4 images from my website http://www.ianneilsonfurniture.co.uk viewed using IE9: before popup; during popup open; during popup open and after the “reshaping” background; after popup close. It is not clear to me what event causes the backgrounded website to reshape itself when the popup is open on top but I’m surprised you have found it hard to reproduce this behaviour as it is actually quite hard to get a screenshot without it. Moving the cursor out of the popup focus and onto the taskbar always seems to cause it for me but sometimes it just seems to happen without any intervention.

March 7, 2013 at 2:44 am #485660Hello,
Please try to download, unzip and overwrite this file to “/templates/ja_onepage/js/script.js” file. Let me know if you continue getting the problem.
Regard.

March 13, 2013 at 12:14 am #486230Thank you so much! This worked perfectly. I had been frustrated for months, not being able to fix it. What did you change in that script.js file?

March 21, 2013 at 2:29 am #487270Hello jorgitomarianao,
Did you clean your site cache before? If so but problem still occurs, please PM me with your site information (your site URL, your site admin account) and your FTP account? So I can diagnose this problem.
Please include this forum thread URL in your PM, so I can follow it.
Regards.
