I just installed com Fixel quickstart package but the home page is empty and in the template module position there is no home-1 positions. Have I missunderstod the home-1 pos?

Hi

You can manually add the home-1 position in your module assignment

If you installed sample data in the quickstart installation the home-1 position was added correctly to the templateDetails.xml file ( check it )

So follow the USERGUIDE To check how was in the demo template

I found the problem the different modules where not assigned to any menu as I expected.

Mine has home-1 as an option but home-1 doesnt work! I tried my same module in another position and works fine, so its not my module. home-1 does not load at all!

Hi tessak22,

I am not sure how you did configure the menu and module settings on your Fixel site. However, in order to make the module display properly on Homepage (i.e), the followings should be in place:

– The JA_Fixel_Home (or Home_colors) template style with Home layout is assigned to Home menu item.
– The home-1 position is selected in Additional positions option of the template style above.
– The modules are assigned to Home menu item.
