June 2, 2011 at 2:44 am #394210To give you a better understanding of the issue, I’ve attached a picture here. I disabled the Latest News module in the home menu, and hoped the module position mega-adv1 would adjust itself to fit the ad. But the ad still juts out.
Any advice?

June 2, 2011 at 7:58 am #394260hello, to change the width of module position , goto template manger >> select your template >> layout >> see the position of module in the block ,after block name , add colwidth=” some value” and save it.

follow the steps
1) go to menus – main menu – new – articals – catagory blog layout – parameter(JA extended)
2) in submenu column with give width of each module.you can refer to the link http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Template_Framework/Navigation

That worked.
I went to Menu — Main Menu — Advertisement (under Home menu) — Parameter (JA Extended) and gave a Submenu Width of “320” to perfectly fit my 300px ad.
