November 12, 2012 at 9:48 am #182158Hello,
I’ve read through older posts regarding the issue of frontage images repositioning. Some of the suggestions to resolve the problem involves a php file named frontage.php In the folder system of JA Nex there is no file named frontpage.php as far as I can see.
I experience the images in the leading article on frontage (and intro articles as well) to position itself on top, above the heading. When clicking on the link to the full article the images is repositioned to be in inline with the text, still creating a too wide “padding”. I’ve tried to unpublish JA Thumbnail plugin but that doesn’t solve the problem. I use the JCK editor. I would like to be able to:
1. Place the images inline with the article text
2. Set the padding etc to be the same for all images ( do not want to set this in the JCK editor)Would be very greatful for any help.
Best,

November 13, 2012 at 10:04 am #472764I tried to read your explaination several times but i could not get error as reported from front-end image or JA Thumbnail. Just for better clarification. Please include screenshot and your site URL here for further investigation.

November 14, 2012 at 7:04 pm #472930Thank you!
I’m on a local server still, therefore unable to give you the url. But the thing is everything in the template is working as it should. I just want to change the position of images from above the heading to be inline with the text as default. I understand I need to change the code in one of the php documents and also in the css. The trouble is I’m not really sure how to do this. I attach the screen shots of how it looks in my browser. On the shot with inline image the padding on the right is too big. The other shot basically shows the image on top of the heading, I do not want the images to be put there as default by the template.
I think the Thumbnail plugin is working okay though, shouldn’t be anything wrong there.
Thanks! Matt

November 15, 2012 at 3:11 am #472952Hi Matt,
Regarding your concerns about JA Thumbnail plugin. This plugin will auto change and resize your image. You have many settings as follows:
“Auto” mode: JA Thumbnail Plugin is enabled automatically in all Joomla articles. To turn off this feature for specific articles, use the {jathumbnail off}tag in that article.
“Manual” mode: To enable JA thumbnail plugin for an article, you must place {jathumbnail} somewhere in your articles content.
“Disable” mode: Disable the Thumbnail generation (DO NOT use the Disable feature of Joomla if you have used the tag {jathumbnail} or {jathumbnail off} already. It will be parsed as normal text.matwes Friendmatwes

November 15, 2012 at 10:59 am #473011Have you got any idea on how to change the image on top on frontpage to be inline with the text in the article as default? Must be some php tweaking right? Happy for any guidance on where to start looking 🙂

November 16, 2012 at 4:44 am #473080I have checked and feel sorry that your request exceeds the scope of our service.
But you can try to use with my fixes below
+ Disable JA Thumbnail on your site or you can setting it don’t appear with detail article on your site
+ Download and extract my attachment file to this path
<blockquote>templates/ja_nex/html/com_content/article/default.php</blockquote>
