I’m building a website for a client and my question is as follows.
The website is located here – http://dhpdev.com/development/dentonbicycle/
When one clicks on a bicycle or product in the slider on the top of the site, the page is refreshed and the product details page for the product that was clicked on from VirtueMart appears below the JA-News module. So one has to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the product details. How or should I say where do I adjust the settings where the product details appear ABOVE the JA-News module or by itself with out the JA-News module?
I’ve tried many adjustments and just can’t figure it out. The login information can be provided through PM if necessary. Thanks!
No adjustments have been made to this template.

March 24, 2009 at 7:16 pm #297723It seems your Ja News module is set to show on all pages. You can just set it to show only on the main page. Just to make sure, i am setting it up on my localhost, will update with screenshots in some time.

March 24, 2009 at 7:32 pm #297727Its confirmed. look at the screenshot and change the settings as highlighted in red. That will give you desired result.
March 24, 2009 at 8:23 pm #297735Unfortunately this setting is already in place. Once I click on a bicycle (product), it refreshes and shows the products details on the same Home page, so changing the Menu Assignment does not seem like the correct solution here. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Well, i am out of ideas, but if your Ja News is set to show only on home page, why is it showing up on each page? This doesn’t fit the default behavior, it just should not be there other than home page. Hope you are not running two instances of the Ja News module.
May be you can again check the Menu Assignment of the module, try scrolling down to see if other links are not selected.
March 25, 2009 at 3:59 pm #297978I understand but I think we are going in the wrong direction. Hey do this. Go to http://dhpdev.com/development/dentonbicycle/ and then click on a bike in the top slider. The page then refreshes and the details for that bike appear at the bottom of the page. That is still the home page right? The ja-news module is only set for the home page so once a product in the slider is chosen, and after the page refreshes the product details from the shopping cart appear at the bottom of the page, how do I make the ja-news module dissappear once one of the products in the slider is chosen? Do you see what i’m saying now?
