The top position should have worked as explained. Can you please update your site url and admin details at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/75334 so that I can check what is wrong?[/quote]

Regarding the right position, I added following message in my previous reply..
I think you have to open the templates/ja_template/page/default.php file and add the module position manually. You will also need to right styling for it..</blockquote>In the teline III (V2) Template there isn´t an folder “page” and there isn´t a file with the name default.php
Edit: Solve the first question. Need only help with the banner position on the right

I think it may be a bug in the template. I will raise a ticket for this issue.
Thanks for reporting it.</blockquote>
In fact, I’m not even using a JA template. I googled my problem and found this forum discussion. So, it seems there is something really wrong and confusing for us non-professional Joomla users.
I installed a template and the module positions for that template do not show up in the drop down list of possible positions when I edit/enable a module. This has happened with two different templates from two different template companies.
WHAT IS GOING ON????

I am not sure how you can create a right position you have shown in the image, so will ask some other developer and get back to you.

June 27, 2011 at 8:27 am #398598Hi proterra,
I am sorry I could not reply earlier due to the weekend off but I checked your site and see that the new headertop position is not not added as I had explained. The admin access you have given is not a superadmin access, so I couldnt change the new position in your layout to fit it in the defined template width.
Since the page folder is not there in your template,- Create a folder named ‘page’ in your templates/your_template folder.
- Copy default.php from plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/page, and paste it in your newly created page folder.
- Open the file and add a code something like
<div id=”ja-wrapper2″ style=”width:10%; position:absolute; right: 100px; top:0px”><jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”user9″ /></div>
Please note that since you will need to place this new position on the right of your current template, you will mostly need to use position property in css, which will not show the right banner at the same position in all screen resolutions. You will need to play with the css to show this right position at the same place for any screen resolution.
