Dear support, I can’t understand why the following page is showing the position "sidebar" (on the right): http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali-estivi.htm

This is a category page; it shouldn’t show that position As, for example: http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/circoli.htm http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/club.htm

Is it a mistake of mine?

I disabled all the caches, but i can’t understand… Could you please support me?

Hi

With templates based on T3 framework, we provide option to set layout for sub category / sub page which you can’t set directly via menu configuration. I just changed the sublayout settings in Backend > Extensions > Template manager > Layout > Sub Layout: http://nimb.ws/yPeWZk

And it displays fine now.

Dear @saguaros,
changing that value, you changed the appearance of all my articles: this is not what I want: all the articles are set to show the sidebar position!
I set the sublayout back to "magazine". All my catagory pages work fine, but the new one.
See the differences:

I found it; not easily, but i found it.
The issue was related to sh404SEF.

Dear Support, I’m re-opening again this topic, because I’m facing a problem related to it. Since I’m having problems whith the new version of the template (for the last Joomla version), I’m trying to find a new configuration to show my articles properly.

I made a new template copy, and I called it "ja_teline_v – Sidebar3". This new copy of the template is set, on "Layout" tab, to show a new "Position and Responsive Configuration" I called "magazine-newsidebar", showing on the right the position "sidebar3" instead of the standard "sidebar".

I also set the standard "Magazine" as "Sub Layout".

Then I applied this new template to the menu voice "Locali estivi" placed into the "Vita notturna" menu: http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali-estivi.htm

This page is working as expected. It loads on the right the modules set in position "sidebar3" (see ex. file 1.jpg).

When I access one of the articles in this page, It should load the "Sub Layout" I set "Magazine", whit on the right the modules set in position "sidebar". Unfortunately, this is not working (see ex. file 2.jpg). http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali-estivi/le-staffe.htm

It should load, on the right bar the modules shown in file 3.jpg. http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali/q-bar.htm

I can’t understand what is not working. Please support me.

I think its working normally. Here is my explanation:

• For example this page: http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali-estivi/le-staffe.htm

• This article belongs to ‘locali-estivi’ category which is assigned to menu item: Locali Estivi and this menu item is assigned with ja_teline_v – Sidebar3 template style: http://prntscr.com/bj1lsi

Hence this article will also inherit layout of Locali Estivi and shows sidebar3 position on the right side.

Why the final page (http://www.epadova.com/vita-notturna-padova/locali-estivi/le-staffe.htm) is not using the "Sub Layout"?

I need to depeen this topic, and I have to understand if this work-around could solve a problem I’m facing since last template upgrade.

My whole website is in an hybrid situation since many weeks. I need you to:

• provide a work-around solution,
• provide a solution on this version of the template.
