When I add ?tp=1 to the URL of home page, I can see “user1,user2,user3,user4” postions. But when I create a new module and want to select a position for it, none of the “user1,user2,user3,user4” position is there.

“user5,user6,user7,user8” are not there, either.

Why?

How to enable it?

Background info: I installed the quickstarter package for the Nex template. Joomla! 2.5.7

Hi

Please check in your /templates/ja_nex/templateDetails.xml if you have these positions added


<position>user1</position>
<position>user2</position>
<position>user3</position>
<position>user4</position>


If you have it, then simply write in the positions field the name of the position, so it will be added and showed in your positions list.

Hi pavit,

I did not have these lines in /templates/ja_nex/templateDetails.xml. After I added these lines, they show up as selectable positions for modules.

What do you mean by “simply write in the positions field the name of the position”? Which “positions field” do you refer to?
