Great template, thanks!

I have come across a possible error when using an Alias menu item type in the top menu.

I have set the template parameter ‘Menu Type’ to a menu ‘topmenu’. I have a secondary menu module that has a menu item called ‘Designs’ with child items. topmenu has a menu item ‘Designs’ that is an Alias for the ‘Designs’ in the secondary menu.

I would expect that clicking on ‘Designs’ in the topmenu would expand the list in the secondary menu. However currently it is producing a 404 error.

Currently I have worked around this by changing from an Alias to an External link with the same url as in the secondary menu.

I have JA Labra 1.1 and Joomla 1.5.4 installed. If you need any other information, please let me know.

I have found the problem , this is a problem in Joomla 1.5 . We can’t create new alias menu item link to special menu item if new menu item in same menu with special menu item. In your case , because Designs menu item and Home menu item in same menu (top menu ) so link of design menu item is wrong. I have tested in joomla 1.5 and get same bug.
I think that you must use other menu type for Design menu.
