November 16, 2009 at 4:23 am #146066Hey,
I’ve signed up as an employer, filled out all the post job details then click save. Now, in half the templates I’ve tried, this spits out an error at the bottom of IE. probably some javascript compatibility issue. However I’ve managed to find a template where the SAVE button actually does something. But it doesn’t seem to post the job. It just redirects back to the same page. My information is all there, nothing is missing (oh and the calendar only worked in 1 or 8 templates I’ve tried so far).
When I go to the backend to see what jobs have been posted, it doesn’t obviously show up since it won’t save it. Can provide login details if required. Any ideas? Thanks!

For your question
I<blockquote>’ve signed up as an employer, filled out all the post job details then click save. Now, in half the templates I’ve tried, this spits out an error at the bottom of IE. probably some javascript compatibility issue.</blockquote>
The issue why post preview appear as a blank page though job has been approved has now been fixed within JB v1.3.1 bugfix that is estimated to release today.<blockquote>However I’ve managed to find a template where the SAVE button actually does something. To put job postings appear instantly on the job list after saving, you need to set timezone of jobboard at the same as that of your machine.
1. Login and go to my cpanel
2. Go to My profile/Edit my details
3. Select appropriate timezoneNow try to post jobs again and check the result

December 9, 2009 at 3:20 am #326127Good day! rv_ng,
Actually the calender error in IE is a bug with Joomla. It is not integrated into JB package. Kindly go to this DOWNLOAD ADD ON area to get this hot fix file.
