It took over two minutes to access JA and load the page for this post and this has been going on since I got back from vacation last week. It’s becoming irritating again and I guess I will stop trying to help the community anymore. I have enjoyed the opportunity to put my two cents in here and there but until JA can provide a reliable solution for users to access this site without it being so slow I am left with no option. Sorry to hear that you are leaving us. I am totally aware of the issue but it is not always easy to move the server while we have 2 big sites running. But I promise to get the new server within this month.

I think he is a little burnt out from all his exams Erik. As you probably already know, he has been going to school and finals were due this month. He has been going at full steam lately and that’s enough to make anyone post shy. I am sure he will be back to his old self in no time though. So I guess we will just have to keep filling in until he decides to jump in again.

Yes you are correct, Bill, exams were hard, very specific and I think I passed, waiting on the governing body to send out the results etc.

I have a few weeks to recover then back to college for the next semester. In between I have a computer to build for a client, two to repair, a website to build., get over sniffles and maybe find a new place to live if this place (I rent) is sold!

So I’m a bit pressured ATM. Like most ppl I am finding the slow forum and almost no access, extremely frustrating!

I saw Hung’s post re moving large sites to new servers etc, and like all we hope the move and transition goes smoothly for the team and JA.

I expect it will be a great opportunity to cull posts that are 12 mths old or more and no longer relevant also. Mind you, I’ll be interested to see just how fast this new server is?

OK I’m about, alive, doing stuff, but will wait until I can get consistent fast access before I’ll bother assisting ppl again, it’s just too hard trying to post multiple posts and wait 3 mins for each post to go through etc

That is so unfair. Shanny gets the developer prize. All I got was the MOTM badge.. Nothing else. Well, of course the honour and prestige but still. No prize for me.. *sulk*
