I’d like to see if I can post jobs automagically from an ATS backend into JA Job Board. Has this already been discussed someplace or is it a new thought?

At a simplistic level (!) I assume I can identify a table in the backend database and just update the data directly with the required fields (title, salary, description, etc, etc) – or will some functionality break if I do this?

Thoughts?

If I get this working I’ll share the code of course. BTW – my backend ats is opencats.org

Dear Russh,

Thank your for share this idea. I checked your demo but got fail. At the moment, JAJB has not api for this feature yet. But i think that is good idea. I’ll forward this to our JAJB dev team for consideration.

Thanks HeR0 – my demo site got compromised, I had to disable it temporarily. I’ll post here when it’s back up. No reason such a feature should be restricted to one ATS though, so long as there’s some ‘field mapping’ option?
