Hello Everyone!
I am using Joomla 1.5.8, Fireboard, and CB. Everything seems to be going along ok, except on little thing.
In the forum, when I click on a forum, all the post in that form are scrunched up to the right. Please see attached for better understanding. I’m sure it’s something simple and silly that I have just missed, but for the life of me, I can’t find it.
Oh…and if anyone can tell me where to find the two fonts in that list (the red and the black), I would really like to change them to something more readable.
Thanks
Kylie

I use JA Uvite.
This is a private forum for officers so I am unable to give a live link. However, I can send/post a larger more clear snapshot if needed.

It may be best to post a rather large pic, also please state what browsers you are testing in, often IE 6 will scrunch text where IE 7 or Firefox wont 🙂

Here is another snapshot. I hope it helps explain my problem. Actually, I think my problem is lack of knowledge and experience. I am very, very new to Joomla and CSS. So new, that I’ve probably messed up something and don’t even know where, when or how I did it.
Thanks for your patience and your help.
BTW..I use IE7.

January 23, 2009 at 6:40 pm #287859Kylie as I said in another post, best to post this in the correct forum to suit the template used, with no live site I cannot check the code but it seems its a .css problem . try it in firefox to see if its an IE only problem and add firebug extension to firfeox so you can debug css on your live site
Also as you are a beginner try these tutorials first they help explain a lot while they probably are more for Joomla 1.010 than 1.5 they get the gist down http://www.joomlatutorials.com/walkthrough/visual_tutorials.html

February 3, 2009 at 5:31 am #289299Mate, as a recommendation, firefox along with firebug and other addons can help you a lot wheter you are a beginner or not. one thing you can try is to changethe template of fireboard to one you have not edited and see if that fixes the issue. then you will now that perhaps you messed up something in the CSS code

Basically what I said in my previous post to Kylie
