HI,
I am currently testing several page builders locally.
I would like to be sure to understand.
a) It seems to me that your extension (same pro) does not allow the modification of the text in the page joomla (only in your box). Is it expected in the coming months to have this possibility ?
b) what happens if we want to use another page builder extension later (is the content stored in com_content, because in my test I see it in the JA pages but not in the joomla pages)?
c) It is compatible with all themes because not very successful with the default theme of joomla!
d) I did not find your listing on https://extensions.joomla.org/
Do you have an url to communicate to me? In general, I’m wary of unreferenced extensions. If so, can you tell me why?

November 2, 2017 at 4:12 am #1071797Hi,
Below are my answers for your concerns:
A: Joomla content belongs to the com_content of Joomla, it should be edited via com_content. With JA Builder, you edit the blocks you added into pages on your site.
B: If I understand correctly, you want to have the ability to have pages in JA builder work with other builder tools, right? I’m afraid it’s not available now.
C: It should work with other templates/ frameworks.
D: We list in JoomlArt.com only.
November 2, 2017 at 9:33 am #1071859Hi,
If you use com_content it’s great.
If I create a site with your builder page but want to change later. My experience in WP is that there are 2 possibilities, of course, losing all the layout, it remains
a) the code of your page builder (shortcode under WP),
(b) only the content remains
You are in case a) or b)Really curious to understand why you are not referenced in https://extensions.joomla.org/
You do not comply with their criteria?
Regards
PS: if you could give me an access account online (http://demo.builder.joomlart.com/) because I did not receive the code after entering my email underSaguaros ModeratorSaguaros

November 3, 2017 at 4:04 am #1072060Hi,
When you add blocks into pages on your site, it will pull data from server of JA Builder and store in the database of your site in specific tables.
For demo purpose, you can access above demo site link and create a demo site from there.

Your question raises points it took me weeks to understand.
Pagebuilder works by adding blocks to a regular Joomla page. That shows articles which you can add/change as you like. They appear in the content position.
Unfortunately, there is an unfixed bug that prevents you from using a two or three column layout.
Alternately, you can create a page in pagebuilder as a landing page not calling any articles. You can make quite nice pages very quickly, but you can only use their blocks. It has at least one unfortunate problem: sidebar and other positions don’t seem to work in that case.

November 6, 2017 at 10:19 am #1072636Hi @saguaros
I’m glad that @jenniebourne is a solution but that does not answer my questions:

November 7, 2017 at 3:43 am #1072804You can fill email via: http://demo.builder.joomlart.com/ , the server will send you an email with link of demo site so you can test all features in JA Builder.
November 7, 2017 at 1:36 pm #1072916HI,
As I already mentioned, this is exactly what I did with 2 emails. Ok I give up the test online, unless you have a solution? … in addition to answering the next question because I was ready to buy your extension which seems to me better!:Really curious to understand why you are not referenced in https://extensions.joomla.org/
You do not comply with their criteria?

November 8, 2017 at 2:29 am #1073019It’s special tool combining template + plugin + etc … to build up Joomla site, not a specific extension so the team doesn’t upload there. I will pass to the team for further consideration also.

I see that it is actually loaded as template!
So do you have any documentation to do just for example the home page with Ja builder using also another theme (no joomlart!) for other pages ?Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros
