Dear Betty,

Customizing layout of the JA K2 Filter result is easy as the ưay you custom K2 categories list.

Firstly, you must determine the template ( theme ) is used in the result page

.

Next, you could edit the file category_item.php as you wish .

I try to edit the css template but nothing. I think I need to put image css with align left but it don’t go.

Dear,

That means the k2 has only theme at the moment, you need create new theme then assign it to JA K2Filter result page. Please look the document http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-k2-filter-package-for-joomla-2-5-3-0/ , hope it makes sense.

You should create new theme for results page and edit it as you wish. This will help you avoid the change in K2 Categories layout.

Dear,

Please look the user guide http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-k2-filter-package-for-joomla-2-5-3-0/
– Firstly, you must create a new theme for result page , go to “Customize Layouts” index in the user guide, you could copy the default theme of K2 component and renane it, remove all files but keep 3 files category.php, category_item.php, category_item_links.php
– From back-end of your site, go to: Components >> JA K2 Filter then open Option settings panel. In this panel, please select tab: Search Result Item Layout and select the new added theme in the field: Select a template and change setting for this theme as you set up K2 category page.
