I love the look of this template. Will we be able to use this template without using the Social component? Will it look as good?

ofcourse. But it depends on what you are trying to develop. Try to look at your contents and then plan for a design. Dont think design should come first becuase you liked it.

For many months the Template is delivered at the beginning of each month. Then there were some problems and began to surrender at the end of each month. Today we are at the beginning of the month following delivery and there is not a template.
Punctuality is very important in the development of the project.

Well I can appreciate what you’re saying but frankly unless I learn how to code this stuff (which I will not be doing anytime soon), that is exactly the way I look at it. If I love the look, I’m going to try the template and try to fit my content into it. That’s why I pay for someone else to design these wonderful templates. ; )

Thanks carlucci! We are fixing it.

Making a template as big as “JA Social” (JomSocial + Agora + 6 old JA extensions + 4 new & updated JA extensions) can take 6 times more than a standard ones. From the day of annoucing this concept, I had known that it is likely that we would not be able to make it in time. However, I & the team were brave to take the challenge with a belief that we ll deliver something special, unique not only in Joomla world, but in the web development worldwide!

You know what? Rounded corner (CSS3) will be working perfect in IEs in this template <– and this will possibly be added as a feature of JAT3 framework

I can’t believe we have more than 1000 users browsing the demo at the moment. And it seems the server is getting slow for now.

Don’t worry, I am resizing the RAM to 4G which will be completed in 30 minutes. During the resize, the server can be very very slow….

Hi Hung,
Not very important to me. There are customers who are eagerly waiting for the Template. In this case the importance is relative. Nobody is going to develop a job waiting for the new Template. I think it’s more the expectation of seeing a new Template than anything else. In my case I do not care to come out today or tomorrow. A new template always have some bugs, and I always wait a week until the bugs are fixed before developing any effective work.
This is my opinion, never a complaint.

Hung – Great design! For those of use that are considering renewing our membership, can you give us a time frame for when this template might be released, since we can’t see the other threads. Also, will the PSD source files comes sliced, in case we would like to adjust the colors? I hope the team worked out some richer colors, especially black.

Just look at the demo – it has a forum, a social networking functionality, K2 and it looks very nice indeed. The mega menu is fantastic too.

You should skin the jomsocial search button too.
Also, what about using new icons rather than jomsocial’s default ones? 😛

As a first time subscriber I’m becoming concerned that JA is loosing focus on Joomla and failing to meet expectations. Other outfits seem to be on their game, but JA ?????????????????

Edit:
The preview looks very good for a social template but not everyone is into social websites. I hope Teline IV rises to the top of the stack soon.
