this quickstart zip is same as other package of ja templates in the download section, you try to check all configuration of the server via control panel, and try using some FTP software to upload the zip file to your host

IF i understand you correctly, you want to use this template on your current working site. If i was at your place i would do the following :
1. Go to download section. Download all the files.
2. Install the Template file and the T3 plugin file.
3. make the template default and check frontend for the template style. It should be working (layout would be mess though).
4. Install the required modules (in the download section) and configure them as per the demo settings.
5. To know the demo setting for the template or module. it is wise to check the userguides (sticky thread in the forum). The screenshots are given for each module or plugin with their backend settings. These are the optimum settings, which are essential if you want the exact demo like view.
6. I always install the Quickstart (which is joomla+ Demo content) on my localhost and use it as reference. It makes the overall work very easy. You can read this thread for understanding how to install quickstart on localhost >> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-ja-quickstart-using-xampp-windows/)

September 9, 2010 at 7:15 am #355020Am I right that your demo does not match the latest release?
It does not work the editing articles of K2 gategorías.
But being a Beta version that could be normal.
Anyone know when there will be a stable version?Arvind Chauhan ModeratorArvind Chauhan

September 9, 2010 at 4:07 pm #355057Is it possible to replace the article info icons with the ones in the preview screen shots? The current article icons in the demo look very outdated. I much prefer the new styles that are displayed in the preview screens. If not, can they at least be included in the source files?

I totally agree. The article icons in the preview look so much better. Also, any chance for JA Tabs being styled for this template? I can’t imagine a template without the Tabs extension. It looks like some tabs are used in the preview screens. Hope this is included.
