September 1, 2009 at 9:25 pm #316055With all the new features and extensions, how easy will it be to migrate to Teline III from Teline II?
When will the Final release be available?I had a problem with Teline II and it seems to have continued in III, i there any to scroll the media galleries – or link it to another larger or scrollable gallery?
by the way GREAT JOB, especially with the drag and drop sections.

September 1, 2009 at 9:33 pm #316056I dont like the rolling articles on the homepage or the sections below that colour up when you hover over them.
If you go with this please ensure it can be turned off.
Thats my opinion. Thanks

September 2, 2009 at 2:05 am #316069By my guess it looks like you’re using a Mac+Safari but I can’t be sure and the JA folks probably won’t be able to tell either so make sure to provide some additional details about your browser/operating system so that the JA folks can at least take a decent crack at the problem, if they take a look at your post :-).

September 2, 2009 at 6:30 am #316082Hello,
While testing the demo, I noticed that if I remove all the markets from the vertical markets list, there is a place for a image that doesnt seem to be loading.
Also I feel that if there are no vertical markets, then the tab should probably hide! Dunno if its possible or no.
Will keep on posting if I find something new!
Regards,
Mihir Chhatre.Paul Wallen FriendPaul Wallen

September 2, 2009 at 11:44 am #316088As soon as it’s ready and stable enough for release.
Joomlart are working as hard as they can to iron out as many bugs as possible before release.
Won’t be too long now. Next day or two hopefully.
September 2, 2009 at 11:50 am #316090First, congratulations for the super Teline III template. Excellent work.
As a journalist I would like to see some improvements like the following ones, if it is possible of course:
1. In the articles/stories pages to have some additional things like in the http://www.nytimes.com story pages: an insert for related stories, reader comments, and similar photo caption styles etc.
2. To be able to use the Ja-zinfp in the section and category pages, like in the front page – to present the top stories of each section or category
3. In the front page, with the Ja-zinsec, when you have two subcategories for a section the third column remains empty like a hole. Is it possible with the new version of JA News to be able to present each subcategory in different ways? If there are two subcategories to be able to feel the empty third column hole like in the http://www.theage.com.au for example.
4. To be able to present more than one top story at the front page with a slider – where the Putin’s photo is
5. The search at the top right it is better to be moved to make space for banners.
Congratulation again. I cannot wait to try itRob Hawthorn FriendRob Hawthorn

Guys, if you’ve read the first post complete you would have known that they will test the beta for 1-2 weeks. This will be followed up by the stable release. 😉
Good work guys. I’m currently busy with a new site and Joomla came to my mind now, lucky for me Teline III is coming soon, that will be my top choice for making a news site. When it’s out, i will become a member to use it. 🙂
