September 3, 2009 at 2:31 am #316178Just like the weather, is there a way to replace the “clock” so that it will detect the geographic and correct time zone sensivitve time where the visitor is? Where applicable, it must detect countries where daylight savings time are observed.
If the above is not used, the concept of GMT is not a “practical time” for the average visitor. The GMT would be useless and I would end up deleting it.

September 3, 2009 at 9:50 am #316230Nice looking, I must say. I’ve been waiting for a new Teline to get my site back to, as the Teline II option was getting a bit old. Now this is a nice template, but Iam wondering, where are the banner spaces (horizontal). I guess they will be between the sections, but I would have liked to see at least one there, to show us how it will look.
Also, will there be space on top, besides the title, for a banner? What size? the regular? I think these questions are all important for people using news sites…
Thanks anyway for a great template. As someone already wrote, Teline is the flagship of JA.

September 3, 2009 at 2:14 pm #316269I was looking at the
Demo of JA Teline III [/url]
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/There is no indication that the Hot Topic module was retained??? I use it for a number of purposes
- as a replacement of the slideshow usually placed in the front page
- as a navigational tool for major stories
- as a replacement for the Highslide gallery, it is more dynamic
- as an “Inside (name of website)” tool to highlight articles inside the website that may no longer be in the Recent, or in the Popular contents
- highlight specific categories as focus gallery for given section or category
- and more — your imagintion is the only limit
I can use the zip version from Teline II, but it is better if it is included as native of Teline III.
If it is not among the modules. I hope you will place it back.
Thanks.

September 3, 2009 at 4:23 pm #316279I think it looks great and the user tools are great for allowing reader preferences. When can I download it?
Some suggestions:
1) Incorporate the JA-TABS module (with top and bottom tabs) as per Ja Teline
2) Incorporate SpeechBubbles and BlockQuotes as per JA Teline typography
3) Place a text-size tool beside Member Area (like ja_teline and ja_teline_ii)
4) Combine the syling of mod_janews (from teline) with the colour-code effect in mod_janews (teline_ii). And make this module compatible with teline_iii. Then we would have a choice between which mod_janews we want to use.
(I think each of the ja_teline modules should be compatible across each template – just change the suffix to match the template, e.g. mod_janews_i, mod_janews_ii, and mod_janews_iii)5) The main menu in Ja Teline has a great styling. Is it possible to keep this styling for a ‘Top Menu’ position?

Join the club! 🙂 As soon as this is out, i’m on it. Already did some pre-modding work, such as logo’s and sort out the extensions i’m going to use. This is definitely the one i’m going to use.
It’s love at first SITE :-*

It happened to me too when i saw Ja Zibal, when it was released way back in 2006 end. I fell in love and jumped into JA. JA got something for everyone.
