maybe, but again this is speculation, I’m trying to find out whether it’ll be free, full price or discounted, but from someone that knows. It’s perfectly feasible that a deal between the 2 companies would be mutually beneficial.
For example, If joomlart has a much larger audience than jomsocial, they could pay jomsocial a certain percentage (based on various factors), this would get jomsocial many more users and a fixed income from joomlart (as well as plenty of new potential customers seeing their other products), joomlart would become far more appealing to joomla users and in turn gain many more users, which in turn would increase the amount of money paid to jomsocial.Remember a joomlart user pays around $350 dollars a year, jomsocial is $150 for a one off payment (joomlart would also get far more discounted rate), so the costs could easily be absorbed over time, plus not all users would necessarily use jomsocial.
or not. It’s all speculation. but there is no definites until someone at joomlart says so one way or another.
yeah those people who have already paid for it would want money back, but they wouldn’t get it, business doesn’t work like that, if you go out and buy a computer, and a week later it drops in price by half, you wouldn’t get your money back would you.

also again im saying this sorry if a repeat it again, joomlart, take your time on this template and reduce as many bugs as possible, the last thing i want to see happen is a quick release followed by muiltiple major updates due to bugs.

May 31, 2009 at 2:45 pm #306301Is it possible to have a drop down hello me module. Something where a user clicks on a small tab and it slides out?
May 31, 2009 at 3:33 pm #306305Excellent work.
I hope in future to find other additions.
Joomsocial, Kunene and VirtueMart;)
Truly an excellent job and a good prospect for the future.anisjolly Friendanisjolly

June 1, 2009 at 11:53 am #306404GREAT template and very nice integration with Magento too.
So here is my question: Could we have a package with the Joomla template AND the Magento template. I do not want to pay a Magento subscription just for one template but the integration is very good…
And in that case, the decision is completely from Joomlart (not like for Jomsocial). So please, think about it. to me, the Magento subscription is REALLY too expensive (compared to Joomla subscription and considering the fact that most of the work is done for both at the same time) and it would really make sense to have packages including templates for Joomla AND Magento in the same package.
I hope Joomlart team will take profit of JA Sulfur to propose us a way to access the Magento template which fits our Joomla template without paying two subscription.
Regards
