    Hi,
    I’m new to Joomla and have built my first site using the JA Mageia template. I have specified the print, pdf and email icons to appear on a page of the site but all that appears are text links that say “print, pdf and email”. The small graphics (little envelope, printer, and pdf symbol) are not displaying. I checked the Media Manager and the graphics are in there. It seems Joomla is not able to find the graphic images to display them. When I click the text links that are there they work fine. So the functionality is working it is just not displaying properly. Can anyone help me out? Thank you.

    Now, please kindly access the global setting of the content component, and check the “icons” parameter
    What is the value? if the value is hide, the text ‘ll display without icon.
    please see my sreenshot

    Thank you very much for you help. I missed that setting. I am still having one problem though, the pdf icon is not aligning flush right along side the print icon and the email icon it’s appearing in the center, any ideas why that is? Thanks again. Marlayn

    Hi,

    I did receive so additonal help getting the icons to appear on the right hand side from the folks at Joomla Art and it was as follows:

    Thank you for contacting Joomlart

    Please open template_css.css file, find following code section:

    td.buttonheading {
    background:url(“../images/dot.gif”) repeat-x scroll center bottom transparent;
    padding:0 0 0 8px !important;
    text-align:center;
    }

    and change to:

    td.buttonheading {
    background:url(“../images/dot.gif”) repeat-x scroll center bottom transparent;
    padding:0 0 0 8px !important;
    text-align:right;
    }

    Not sure if this is helpful or not I hope so.

    Marlayn
