Hi

I’ve recently updated my website to Joomla 2.5.6, and also updated the ja_methys template. Most things updated fine, but I have a problem with the ja_comments plugin.

However, when I click on Content – JA Comment in Plugin manager, the page doesn’t load correctly, and I am unable to select which menu item the comment forms appear on.

When I first encountered the issue, I received the following error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/beetroot/public_html/rbsworld/plugins/content/jacomment/elements/jacategory.php on line 42

After reinstalling the component, the error message disappeared, but the plugin page will still not load properly.

I would appreciate it if you could take a look and help diagnose the problem.
