Hi to everyone, I am trying to migrate a site from joomla 1.0.15 to joomla 1.5, and I would like to use Ja Teline IV template for this site.
The problem is that at the end of the process I can’s see the Ja Teline IV template properly, (see the image), and I don’t know why. Can you help me? Where iam I wrong?
I suppose the problem is in the migration process from the old site to 1.5, because if I make a new installation of jateline IV with quick start package, I have not any problem with it.
I have the same problem (of the template) also if i run the standard package of joomla 1.5

    Bye

    Hi,

Do you mean that the JA Teline on your site is not looking like the JA Temline demo? If that is the case, you dont have the appropriate modules published in the correct positions. Please check the userguide for setting up the template like in demo at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-teline-iv-userguide/

The reason you can see the template correctly when you use quickstart is that the modules are by default published in the same positions as in demo on the template.

My suggestion is to start publishing the modules in available positions and you will see the difference..

Hi the articles are coming there due to your menu type. If you check Menus > Main menu (menu with a star marked) > Home menu item, the default menu item must be a category blog or a featured articles type menu, then the articles from specified category or featured articles show up there in main content area.

You can set Featured param for each article as NO or you can use different profiles in template such that home profile will hide the main content area on the home page and other profile will show it on inside pages.
