Hello ,
Today I have installed JA Telline, and updated joomla to the last version. I am testing it and i face 2 problems :
1) I can not upload images with the wysywyg default interface, it looks as if the uploader is not complete as you can see on the file attached
2) When i upload a photo using filezilla and put it in the stories file, then try to integrate it on a news, i can not align it on the left nor on the right, and put the attribute “space”, it first looks ok, but as soon as i click on Apply or on Save, i lost all the datas, as you can see too on the attached files.
It is maybe due to rights on the folders ? Image and image/stories is on chmod 777.
Is there anything else to chmod 777 ?
Can anyone help me please ?

August 6, 2009 at 6:55 am #313447Hi
I checked your admin and saw that a lot of folders which is not writable.
Please go to Administrator -> Help -> System Info -> Directory Permissions tab for more detail.August 6, 2009 at 7:27 am #313453Hello,
I put all those chmod folders as 777, but i still have the same problems.1) The uploader appear and desappear (try it creating a new article) 😉
2) The position of the image (alignment, vertical space and horizontal space) is not applied. If you click on the test article on the home page, it is not applied, neither in the article management in the admin, but if you acced that article using the Enduro Link in the magazine menu, then it is applied…
Can you check it please ?

August 6, 2009 at 8:20 am #313457Hi christool
I have tried to change your configuration but when i saved it, i saw this notification:
* An Error has occurred! Unable to open configuration.php file to write!
Could you please send me your ftp account via PM so that i could have a closer look on the issue?
Alsoe, you can go to Administrator -> Site -> Global configuration -> System -> change Enable Flash Uploader to No. I think at that time you can upload images.
Please let me know if you solve this issue

August 6, 2009 at 1:58 pm #313505Wow~!~!~! Changing the ‘Enable Flash Uploader to No’ just changed my life. I can upload from the Insert Image box now. This is great~!!~! Thanks.
Christool, there is a CSS change to make to add the spacing…it is somewhere on the forum here. I will try to find it.
Christool – Why were you changing all the folders to unwritable?
August 6, 2009 at 2:20 pm #313515It could be great if ypu could find that CSS changes Joeflynn, because using JCE is a problem too as when there is a video in an article, that video appear on the front page… 😉
Incompatibility with the ja news system ?
Joomla drives me crazy… I am waisting time for some bugs that shouldn’t appear… 🙁Why were my folders unwritable ? Just because i didn’t know I had to put them writable as the web browser installation did not tell me tu change CHMOD excepted on the config file. 😉
