I was surprised after designing my site that “From the News” had disappeared and that “Upcoming Releases” is open by default and should be close.

Joomla: 2.5.4
K2: 2.5.6
Magic Quotes GPC: Off On
Output Buffering: Off On

The strange thing: when the site is in a folder (http://www.targamat.eu/===oldsite===/) it works perfectly and when I tarnsfer it to the public folder I see this issue!

I understand now why it is happened: This is due to update in k2 to 2.5.5 or 2.5.6!

I do not know if this is JART template issue or k2 issue, someone has an idea?

Thanks for contacting with us. As the demo site:
– ‘From the News’ is JA Content Slider module, as I can see at your site now, this module doesn’t have any content inside to display

– ‘Upcoming Releases’ is JA Bulletin module, please make sure that you enable it in backend.

I did the site again without upgrading to K2: 2.5.6 and it works… If I upgrade it to 2.5.5 or 2.5.6 the “From the News” content will disappear…

Hi there,
It seems the problem comes from K2 component. You can follow this thread: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/help-drop-down-menus-stopped-working/#post-449408

Firstly, you could try with replacing the ‘head.php’ file and see what’s going on. And if that doesn’t help, try to set jQuery to load locally.
