Hi,

I am using joomla 3.1.1 and native language switcher plug-in but when i load my web the default content language not load, always load in english. I read in other threads of this forum, switch off “automatic change language” in language filter plug-in and change to site language to “select language to new visits”, but my problem is the persist.

Hi jjvera,

Did you try to change default template to another standard Joomla template like Bee5? and tell me how it goes.

I’ve been on vacation.
I have not yet made the test template change, but I’ve been thoroughly reviewing my problem and I think the reason is because the template inserts a cookie in the browser in the wrong language. My default language is Spanish and the cookie insert me in English. In the plugin “language filter” I changed the life of cookies to “session” and language Selection for new Visitors to “Site language”. The first time I load either the default language but on returning to home from any article or reload the page without closing the browser and I get in another language “Inglés”.

You can give it a try with template change, it will help to locate where problem comes from. 🙂
