    Dears,
    I have purchase and install the JA Lens by the Quickstart method.

    I can change and save the global setting or any other contents.

    I have reach a problem that while I try to change the setting of K2 Parameters, then I click the save and close button. There is nothing to change and the popup stay open and showing the global settings.

    Would you please tell me whats wrong and how to fix it?

    I have try to search in the database and the file system. It seems no place to store the K2 Parameters.

    I am not mine to change the configs by hand in the database or in the file system, If you can tell me where do the K2 Parameters store.

    Thanks

    William

    Hi williappy,

    I don’t know exactly what was causing the problem but I fixed it into the file of administrator/components/com_config/views/component/tmpl/default.php you can check to see it work well now.

    Hi tribann,

    Not sure if you have the same problem but you can open that file administrator/components/com_config/views/component/tmpl/default.php and moving this snap of code
    <input type=”hidden” name=”id” value=”<?php echo $this->component->id;?>” />
    <input type=”hidden” name=”component” value=”<?php echo $this->component->option;?>” />
    <input type=”hidden” name=”task” value=”” />
    To right below this tag
    <form action=”<?php echo JRoute::_(‘index.php?option=com_config’);?>” id=”component-form” method=”post” name=”adminForm” autocomplete=”off” class=”form-validate”>

    I hope it should help !

    I can modify K2 parameters only with Save button not with Save & Close

    Hi tribann,

    The problem seem to related to k2 itself, Have you posted a question to the k2 forum, anyway if you can pm me the url, the admin account and the FTP info as well I will take a look into the problem.

    thanks Sherlock, all will stay offline until the site just ok.

    There’s a lot documentation, I spent lot of time on it, but there’s a lot of little things that appears nowhere..

    Just to help beginners from my own experience :
    After a clean install with all the last versions softs, all’s ok ; but I can’t use K2 component from administrator backend : no edit, create…
    So : I first got to Site/Global Configuration and check in the SEO settings : “Use URL rewriting” to yes
    Then you can use K2 component from the backend and add categories, items… but when you go to frontend and click on a photo : the article’s all black.
    Return to Site/Global Configuration and check “no” for “Use URL rewriting” and…. all’s ok !
    why ? I haven’t got any answer for that, it’s not pleasant, and I hope the next problem will not be an X-File !

    have a nice day (or night) with joomlart..

    That could be a caching issue, you can try to clean caches on your back-end that i think would help.
