Hi, I have a problem with the plugin-ja facebookshare v1.0.3. When a user clicks on the share button on the home page of an article is shared the ‘url of the website not the article. Then when you click the button share the article page does not display the image part in the share. Can you help me solve the problem

Hi I have checked and seen that works well. The image of article still display and when click on the share button of an article in home page it share url of the article. Please check and confirm again.

Thanks for your reply. I checked from another computer but I always have the same problem. In leaving the home page images but does not share the url part but shares the main page (http://www.pomigliano.org) Then when you click on es. “http://www.pomigliano.org/home/item/169-pomigliano-aumentano-le-bollette-di-acqua-e-immondizia-grazie-spa” do not leave the thumbnail of the article. Can you help?

Hello,

I’ve got the same problem on various installations. Either the wrong photo is posted to facebook, or none at all.

Funny detail: on older installations it seems to work!

1) Not working new installation on ja_methys (also tried ja_social before)

a) fashion-chemistry.com
(wrong image posted to facebook when you click share)
b) http://fashion-chemistry.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=351:bar-refaeli-goes-nude&catid=17:general&Itemid=8 (no image)

2) working old installation of ja_teline ii http://zeitgeistmagazin.com/lifestyle/2461-justin-bieber-verhalten-im-flugzeug-sicherheitsrisiko

I tried to change the order of the plugins and to disable the plugin on front and list pages – that didn’t help.

Would be awesome if you could have a look into this, since nowadays a lot of traffic comes from facebook.

I’m having the same problem with JA Methys. I’m under the assumption it’s a compatibility issue with the JA facebook and the share button. The only way around that I have found is to hit the like button. Then delete it from your stream and then you should be able to share.

Would appreciate any insight into this bug/issue.
