Hi,

I installed joomla 1.7 and Ja social and then jomsocial without any problem.

Then I decided to erase everything and to use the quickstart for ja social. I installed it and then I added jomsocial but nut I have that error: Error building admin menus. I don´t understand where the problem comes from as in the quickstart it´s probably the last version and I downloaded the last jomsocial version too.

Can anyone help me ??

Hi,

This is caused because Joomla 1.7.x version has a new way on creating menus and you get this error from jomsocial component while the compo tries to create the jomsocial toolbar menu.

You can try to create that toolbar by your self or if you are unfamiliar with that you can provide me with a Super User account (via PM) so i can create that for you.

Thank you very much for your kind answer! I decided to install the whole thing without the Quickstart so for now it´s ok but thanks again!
