I am having trouble updating the JA Medicare template from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4. When I try to update I get a “Warning: update path does not exist” notice with a message: “Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.” (see attachment)

In fact, all 7 of my extensions return that same message.

I am on Joomla 3.4.5. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks,

    Lloyd

    Hi there

Joomlart extensions are behind a membership type , so you should authenticate on the website first to be able to update them

This is not possible to obtain from Joomla core extension manager , but you can update all Joomla extensions using component Ja extension manager already installed into your website

Simply set as default updater service the JoomlArt Updates and fill in through the edit button your Joomlart account

    Then update all extensions

    Hi Pavit,

Thanks for the quick response. I’m a bit of an idiot. After following your instructions to setup the Joomlart updater as the default, I still went back to the Joomla extension manager to try to update the extensions from there. duh.

Anyway, now that I figured out what you clearly said I see that several of the modules have had a number of updates over time. Should I apply each one of the updates for that module or just the most current one?

    Thanks again,

    Lloyd

Should I apply each one of the updates for that module or just the most current one?

You can update directly to the latest version showed, it is not needed to update one by one all of them

    P.S.

It is good and recommended to take first a backup of your website before to make any update on it, expecially if you are updating now all extensions

    Best regards
