    Hi,

I have set NewsFlash Modules to appear on positions User8, User9 and Top on the Homepage only. It works most of the time.

But if I click on a NewsFlash Item inside one of them, the page containing the full item still bears the three rounded boxes on their original positions.

Can someone educate me on how to avoid this? I want the modules/boxes only present at the homepage.

    regards,
    Alexandre

Started using the D4J Content Listing Module and thisproblem went away…

On the other hand D4J CLM is not working well with the module class suffixes (-orange etc.)

Thanks in advance for the help,
    A

    Hi,

    On http://www.vectorescola.com.br

The green module in the midle is a Newsflash, if you click on “leia mais…” (read more…) the item still shows user8 user 9 and top (as it shouldn’t).

The Orange Module on the left is a D4J Content Listing Module, I also tried Joomlaworks AJAX NewsFlash. Both misbehave (as one can see with the D4J CLM) with the color class suffixes (-orange in this case).

    regards,
    Alexandre

The problem that made me initiate this thread is not visible at my live site anymore, but to replicate it follow these steps:

    – Add Flashnews modules to your homepage only, at positions user8, user9 & top for example.
    – Configure the FlashNews modules to have a “read more” link or item title linked.
    – click at the “read more” link at the homepage, from the Flashnews modules, or at its items linked titles.
    – Notice the frontpage modules are still invoked, even if you are no longer at the homepage.

Maybe this is just Joomla’s “works as designed” behavior but I wish it wasn’t …
