November 18, 2014 at 12:13 pm #555601Hello!
I do have the same problem with Blog Post module in UBER wedding template. I did switch introtext in Blog Post module and some other options to “Show”. These information are displayed now, but the background image (sam-1.jpg) is gone. Then I did restore all previous settings but the background do not appear anymore. Seems to be a bug!
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Raphael

November 19, 2014 at 9:42 am #555759Hi Viet Vu
I did a retest in a OOTB installation with the latest Uber J33 quickstart package and there I am able reproduce my problem.
After the installation, the blog post module in the frontend looks like this:
The background image is visible.
Then I logged in to the backend and did a modification of Blog Post Modul Manager, where I switched the “Introtext” from Hide to Show (with save).
After this step and a reload of the frontend, the background image was gone.
I found that after my change, the <PREFIX>_modules table has changed in a probably not correct way:
OOTB params of <PREFIX>_modules table:{“mode”:”normal”,”show_on_article_page”:”1″,”show_front”:”show”,”count”:”3″,”category_filtering_type”:”1″,”catid”:[“127″],”show_child_category_articles”:”0″,”levels”:”1″,”author_filtering_type”:”1″,”created_by”:[“”],”author_alias_filtering_type”:”1″,”created_by_alias”:[“”],”excluded_articles”:””,”date_filtering”:”off”,”date_field”:”a.created”,”start_date_range”:””,”end_date_range”:””,”relative_date”:”30″,”article_ordering”:”a.title”,”article_ordering_direction”:”ASC”,”article_grouping”:”none”,”article_grouping_direction”:”ksort”,”month_year_format”:”F Y”,”item_heading”:”4″,”link_titles”:”1″,”show_date”:”0″,”show_date_field”:”created”,”show_date_format”:”Y-m-d”,”show_category”:”0″,”show_hits”:”0″,”show_author”:”0″,”show_introtext”:”0″,”introtext_limit”:”100″,”show_readmore”:”0″,”show_readmore_title”:”0″,”readmore_limit”:”15″,”layout”:”uber:blog2″,”moduleclass_sfx”:” sbg-image style-dark”,”owncache”:”1″,”cache_time”:”900″,”module-intro”:”Getting married? Fall in love again? All tips to help you get organised. “,”module-background”:”images/joomlart/wedding/misc/sam-1.jpg”,”module-background-size”:”cover”,”module-background-position”:”center center”,”article_column”:”3″}
Params of <PREFIX>_modules table after modification:
{“mode”:”normal”,”show_on_article_page”:”1″,”show_front”:”show”,”count”:”3″,”category_filtering_type”:”1″,”catid”:[“127″],”show_child_category_articles”:”0″,”levels”:”1″,”author_filtering_type”:”1″,”created_by”:[“”],”author_alias_filtering_type”:”1″,”created_by_alias”:[“”],”excluded_articles”:””,”date_filtering”:”off”,”date_field”:”a.created”,”start_date_range”:””,”end_date_range”:””,”relative_date”:”30″,”article_ordering”:”a.title”,”article_ordering_direction”:”ASC”,”article_grouping”:”none”,”article_grouping_direction”:”ksort”,”month_year_format”:”F Y”,”link_titles”:”1″,”show_date”:”0″,”show_date_field”:”created”,”show_date_format”:”Y-m-d”,”show_category”:”0″,”show_hits”:”0″,”show_author”:”0″,”show_introtext”:”1″,”introtext_limit”:”100″,”show_readmore”:”0″,”show_readmore_title”:”0″,”readmore_limit”:”15″,”layout”:”uber:blog2″,”moduleclass_sfx”:” sbg-image style-dark”,”owncache”:”1″,”cache_time”:”900″,”module_tag”:”div”,”bootstrap_size”:”0″,”header_tag”:”h3″,”header_class”:””,”style”:”0″}Result:
module-intro, module-background and “module-background-size are gone!I am not quite sure whether this is the problem brenot is referring to, but when restoring the OOTB param settings and changing anything inside these params directly in database, the behavior seems to be correct.
Bye
