Folks I downloaded a Joomla 1.5 install with Larix template. I promptly joined Joomlart and downloaded the same Larix template overwriting that from the original bundled install.

    However:

    1) every time I add an item to the cart, I’m getting a white rectangle instead of transparent background up on the mini cart

    2) Been all over the site but can’t seem to find any reference to the problem, there are user’s manuals, tutorials on how to change CSS and colors, but nothing for this problem.

    3) Followed some links to cached google pages wtih a bunch of talk about illegal users but not much else, now even that threads below has been conveniently deleted when I logon on to the forums proper:

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showthread.php?p=96456
    https://www.joomlart.com/forums/showthread.php?p=96521

    4) The second one even contains screen shots –guys I’m newb at this but I’ve been tweaking CSS for the last 5 days since I’ve been a member and it looks like this is generated some where in the JS.

If the posts were removed because they didn’t solve the problem please point me in the right direction. But I’ve got no shot at fixing this off of google cached pages, I’m still a newb at this.

So anybody please help if you get a moment.

    Thanks,

    IT7

    hiya,

I made those posts but yeah they got deleted altho they did contain the right fix for the problem.

You have to download the fix i uploaded as attachment and upload it to:
    componentscom_virtuemartthemesdefaulttemplates common folder

    On your webhost.

Let me know if that solves it.

    Bennitos:

The fix didn’t work. still getting the white rectangle.

I click the refresh in my browser and everything returns to normal.

It happens with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But not with IE.

Any other suggestions -is there a way to isolate the offending code, in VB we have a debug mode is there something similar for PHP and CSS (of course I’m not sure it’s the CSS or PHP).

    Here’s the website: http://www.chaldera.com/joomla

You add a few items to the cart and you’ll have to click refresh to get it to redraw transparent.
