    Hi Folks,

    When using the light colour setting, the title of my contents are not being displayed in AJAX Newsflash module. The same is also true if I have any links within the content itself (see the attachment).

    Can someone please tell me in which CSS file and where I can find the attributes for the AJAX Newsflash Titles and the links?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Afshin,

    It’s better if you provide your live site URL

    I see no one has relied to your post
    I looked at the site zebrina template and in code I see you have 2 instances of this code

    <!–JAJAX_BLOX:BEGIN–>

    <!–JAJAX_BLOX:END–>

    this one is empty the next has the code for module

    <!–JAJAX_BLOX:BEGIN–>

    <div id=”ja-ajaxloading” style=”z-index:2; display: none; width: 40px; height: 40px; background: url(http://www.haslemeretownfc.org/templates/ja_zebrina/images/ajax-loader-light.gif) no-repeat 50%; text-align: center;”>

    </div>

    <!–JAJAX_BLOX:END–>

    please remove empty code and see if that makes it work properly

    I hope this fixes your problem

    Hi ShannonN,

    Firstly, thank you for your help on this issue, and sorry for sight delay as I was on holiday & had but given up on this issue. It’s good to know there are some members who care about the novices as Joomlart techies seem to be too busy just asking about the website addresses and deal with more complex issues (one hope so).

    Anyway, I examined the index.php of the Zebrina, and in fact there are 5 instances of <!–JAJAX_BLOX block in the code. The one with empty statements was right at the bottom of the program and when I removed the code it resulted in the following error at run time:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/haslemer/public_html/templates/ja_zebrina/index.php on line 703

    Cheers,

    Hi Afshin

    Sorry I couldn’t fix the problem first time round, as you noticed I don’t use the Zebrina template or my answer would’ve been better 🙂

    Looking at the css for the area (jgfw_css.css) I can’t see anything that sticks out but it is 6 am 🙂 Looking at the zebrina guide it does point out that the Ajax loader will not work with trans menu, but I guess you knew that already

    I’ll leave it for someone that knows css, its my weak spot , now the threads been bumped someone will notice I’ll contact someone to look at it

    Thanks again ShannonN.

    I have a gut-feel the problem lies in the CSS because any other colours except the light one will display the title & the links correctly.
