you open the file: /templates/ja_anion/css/template.css and find the following css code:body#bd { background-color: #353535; color: #ccc; }
replace:
body#bd { background:url(IMAGEPATH); color: #ccc; }
<blockquote>
4. How reduce search module ?
</blockquote>
now, you open the file: /templates/ja_anion/css/template.css and find the following code:#ja-search {
background: url(../images/search-bg.png) no-repeat right top;
height: 34px;
width: 290px;
bottom: 10px;
}#ja-search #mod_search_searchword {
background: url(../images/icon-search.png) 99% 4px no-repeat;
border: 0;
width: 246px;
padding: 5px 30px 5px 10px;
margin-top: 3px;
vertical-align: middle;
color: #ababab;
}you adjust the value for the width attribute in both rules. and reduce the width of this image templates/ja_anion/images/search-bg.png

September 2, 2010 at 1:10 pm #354429I’ve decided that the problem with favicons is a problem with the browser itself……
Sometimes, even when I change my favicon, it still won’t show as having changed in the browser for days and sometimes weeks – yet in other browsers the new favicon will show no problem.
I think favicons are just odd little images in a strange format – why can’t people just load a .gif or .jpeg image and have the browser pull off a favicon type image from that – perhaps with a convention that it be called favicon.gif, favicon.jpeg etc. and be placed withn a folder called favicon at the root of the site?
As it is – the way favicons are displayed and presented just seems overly complicated to me – even though with Joomlart templates in theory all you have to do is over-ride the old favicon with your new favicon….but in practice this never seems to be as simple as it sounds…
