Please ensure to have theme selection selected as sidebar in module parameters

it is selected and content is showing as in the demo but only the title is not readable as you can see from my image. I also went to the module css but I can not find place to edit background or something like that so that the title will be readable

The image path isnt reflecting right in your site due to which image doesnt show. Try disable css compression in template parameters to see if it helps

OK it is working without css compression but isn’t there any other way? What does it mean to disable CSS compression and what impact will that have on my web site ?

Disabling css compression would mainly have adverse effect on speed of site. Other way, You can enable css compression and then, add this as seen in screenshot which would only exclude specific css file from getting compressed hence, getting you desired results 🙂
