    What I do:

    1. I do a fresh install, with the quicksetup package for Joomla 1.6.

    2. I updated ja-slideshow to 1.0.4 (the older one 1.0.2 has a bug) <- Actually no need to show the problem)

    3. I click on a featured article (the ones that is under: Welcome to the frontpage).

    4. The article shows up together with all the frontpage modules <– my problem.

This is not a behaviour on the demo (J 1.5, and also on my 1.5 installs).

I usually use quicksetup for new sites, and don’t know if its recommended if you want most of the functionality as in the demo.

Tried JA-Rasite too (another favourite of mine), same result with featured articles directly from the quickinstall.

Any suggestion welcome, my ideas start to run out.

    Dear b4nite,

If you want those articles display without modules around it, you just need to create a menu item that refer to that article or refer to the category which the article belong to then don’t assign modules for this menu item.

It is just a setting issue and you can do it yourself.
