I am creating this post to see if you can enlighten me the following situation that happened to me with the JA Google Maps Plugin.

I was having the following error message in the plugin (the text in the image is in Portuguese, therefore transcribe the original and English translation).

Google has disabled use of the Maps API for this application. The given key is not a key to the valid Google API, or is not authorized for the Google Maps Javascript API v3 on this web site. Until today, this plugin running smoothly, never had problems with the API key and had a maximum 20 calls daily, quite far from the limit of 25000.

I update the plugin but did not succeed in solving the problem. Finally, I created a new API key and in this way managed to solve the problem.

@nunoc,

Upgrading the plugin can not resolve this issue, since it relates to your Google map API key.
Please contact Google to check why does your key is disabled.

Or you can register a new key to make plugin work again.
