September 7, 2011 at 1:34 pm #168270My site, http://www.hamlethub.com/bethel does not appear correctly with IE9, although it appears fine with Firefox and earlier versions of Internet Explorer.
It is using the default template in ja-teline_iv/css/template.css instead of the template.css in the local directory.
Does anyone know how to fix?

September 7, 2011 at 2:05 pm #411231Hi,
It looks like one of your plugins/modules is causing a js conflict. Try to disable any third party plugins and check again. Also the custom html module you have below the weather tab is not working as it should on IE 9.

September 7, 2011 at 2:11 pm #411233Thanks,
I have a number of plugins and modules, is there any way to narrow it down? I am trying to determine what type of plugin could interfere with it loading the proper css file.
It works correctly with my home page, http://www.hamlethub.com. That is using a different profile/theme than the sub pages. Could there be something in the XML that is causing it not to load the correct css file?

September 7, 2011 at 2:20 pm #411235Hi,
The problem is also on home page although you might not see anything not displaying correct, unfortunately it’s still there!
I can suggest to upgrade everything on your site, like JA T3 plugin , ja tabs etc and test again.Remember….always create a full backup of your site before changing anything!

September 7, 2011 at 3:20 pm #411249I upgraded everything from Joomlart. I will see if there are any other extensions or plugins that I can upgrade.
I don’t believe it is happening with my home page, http://www.hamlethub.com. When I use the programming tools, it is using the correct css file, in the local directory. It is not using that file with the “sub” sites, http://www.hamlethub.com/bethel. It is using the css file from template/css.
It is the class h1.logo that is causing the header issue, it is not looking at the local css file where I have that defined, and where Firefox will override the generic one.

September 7, 2011 at 3:59 pm #411263It should be using the .css in templates/your templates/css
if you want it to use a differnt one you need to make a profile with that template..cssManos ModeratorManos

September 7, 2011 at 4:38 pm #411282When you say “home page”, do you mean the hamlehthub.com page, or the hamlethub.com/bethel page?
Because the hamlethub.com page works correctly, so even if that is an error, I don’t believe it would be causing this.
Thanks for all you help.

September 7, 2011 at 4:41 pm #411283yes, I understand that, and everything is working as described for Firefox. It is just not using the correct template with IE9. And this exact setup has worked with earlier versions of IE.
However, IE9 does use the correct template with one layout (used for http://www.hamlethub.com), but not for the other layout, (http://www.hamlethub.com/bethel).
I have tried to look at the CSS as well as the layout xml files to see why it would like one better than the other, but I can’t find any differences.
