I have installed JA Puresite template (quickstart), but I get the problem, since it does not work properly. In the admin panel I can not
change menu system (it is not active), in the front end, the template does not show submenu items.
Any clue why this happens? I have tried to install it twice. same problem.

Is this something to do with PHP, since it is not 5.3+ on my server? (Sorry if it’s a dumb question :D).

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

I have created a new profile as an exact copy of your default profile, from there it’s possible to change the menu type, and assigned this new profile to your home, i have also disabled your JS optimization and tested that all is working as expected

    make these changes to verify

Let me know if this solve your issues

OK. I have opened my admin panel and my site and nothing has changed. Could you explain it more simple what should I do to make it work?

From your Extensions — Template manager –JA_Puresite – Default — PROFILES tab — default profile click on the arrow icon on the right and select clone — you will see the name Default-copy —click on ok

You now have a copy of your default profile where you can change the menu type in Menu Settings choose your new menu type and save it

Now on the left down side of the page you have a section called Language & Page Assignments on the right you have the page and on the left the profile assigned for that page .

Now click on the All / 435 profile column where it says home and from the popup window choose the default-copy profile after click on save on the up right icon menu

Now switch on the GLOBAL tab and where you see Optimize JS choose No now you have “Join & Minify”

Now you have changed the profile for the home but you can make how many profiles you wants and assign it to how many pages you want

I tried doing this and on the “default-copy” profile the Menu Systems drop down menu is shaded out and I can not change it. Any advice ? Thanks in advance

    Hi

You need to flag the square box at the right to enable changes
