February 19, 2011 at 2:18 pm #160424Problem With JA Cloris ( J 1.5 ) Quickstart Installation
Just downloaded the JA Cloris Quickstart ( J 1.5 )
However, during installation it does not allow the installation of sample content ( see attachment ) and final screen is :Notice: Undefined index: DBtype in /home/marretts/public_html/installation/installer/models/model.php on line 764
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JException::getNullDate() in /home/marretts/public_html/installation/installer/helper.php on line 290
Is there a problem with JA Cloris ( 1.5 ) Quickstart ?
I have tried other JA Quickstarts before ( Teline etc ) but this is the 1st time I get an installation problem

February 21, 2011 at 5:34 pm #377791Try this:
1) Drop all table that were automatically created in the database after installation incomplete.
2) Delete configulation.php form server and upload new configualtion.php with no text in configuration file (most people fail this step because rename file configuration.php-dist to configuration.php only but it is not blank page !!!!!)
3) Change MOD at file configuration.php to 777 (you can change it basically by FTP or web control panel)
4) Delete Installation folder and re-upload folder again.
5) Try to run installation again.Phill ModeratorPhill

February 21, 2011 at 5:52 pm #377793I’ve just tested the quickstart on my localhost and it all appears to install fine for me. If you are enabling the ftp layer during install please try without.

February 22, 2011 at 5:14 pm #377966Try chmodding your /public_html folder or whatever folder you have it installed in to 755. It’s not the install package itself at fault here, I had no problem with it, it’s probably a rights issue.
