I’ve got a weird problem with this module, that seems to come and go – I guess there’s something conflicting somewhere but I’ve got no idea what or how to find out what!
Basically the first time you go to the page, the bottom half of the image and the text in the front page module (set to headline_fp.php) is cut off. When you flick through the other articles in that module they are all fine, including the original story that was cut off when you come back to it.
It’s really weird, and doesn’t happen all the time, so it may be hard to diagnose. I work mainly in Safari, but get the same problem in Firefox and Chrome.
You can check out the site here… http://www.oxfordjournal.co.uk/cms
Any help would be much appreciated!
Tony

January 27, 2010 at 7:38 am #330545Hello Tony!
I have the solution to resolve your issue:
please open the file: /templates/ja_teline_iii/css/template.css and try to find codes at line 768:.ja-box { padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; }
Replace:
<blockquote>.ja-box { padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; width:100% }
</blockquote>Good luck

I’ve changed that line but it’s made no difference. Any other ideas?

January 27, 2010 at 9:25 am #330573Hello guy
i could not find any change of code in this file:
http://www.oxfordjournal.co.uk/templates/ja_teline_iii/css/template.css
Please check againJanuary 27, 2010 at 11:18 am #330612I’ve just checked that file and I can see that it has been changed. Can you check again?
What’s really weird is that it doesn’t happen everytime, maybe 1 in every 3 refreshes.

January 27, 2010 at 1:29 pm #330622Hello Tony,
You can take a look here.
From my point of view I see your frontpage intro loading OK now.
Regards,
MicranthaJanuary 27, 2010 at 4:54 pm #330641Hi tienhc
I’ve checked the .css file and I’m pretty confident the line you said has been replaced with what you told me to.
I’m getting desperate now as it’s making the front page of my site look pretty rubbish.
