Hi – the quickstart fails for me when I get to the ‘Install Sample Data’ button which gives me an error
‘Invalid XML response from Server’.

If I click next anyway I get an error:

Notice: Undefined index: DBtype in /httpdocs/installation/installer/models/model.php on line 764
No database selected

I’ve tried on 2 separate machines – other quickstarts work fine.

It looks more of Joomla problem :

fixed it but I’m not sure which of the below steps fixed it-

1. I reuploaded the /installation/ folder
2. I did not turn on the FTP layer during install
3. I had previously renamed the configuration-dist.php file to configuration.php and set it to ‘666’. This time I left it as is and let the install script generate the config script for me to manually add.
