While working with the section/categories, I follow the instruction in the user manual to update the menu up top, but inevitably it does not work.

I then tried changing the names directly from the menu manager, which then split the content into a new main menu item for any edit I made.

Is there a way I can fix this?

I have jreviews installed on my site, which caused the site to go down. I modified the code as follows:

As a temporary fix, I decided to tinker around with base.class.php even though I have no clue about how coding for Joomla templates work, and I did this:

if(defined(”)) $this->loadMenu_15();
else $this->loadMenu_10x();
}

function createParameterObject($param, $path=”, $type=’menu’) {
return new mosParameters($param, $path, $type);
}

Any insight into this problem would be very appreciated!
