If we take a look here

and click on the location here

…say United States, It will bring you to
http://rapidfy.com/jak2filter?xf_2_txt=453

which is a blank page.

If i click on the author link on the other hand, it will send me to a broken link.

Why is this occuring?

Hi,

The Page is blank cause of JA Directory style Feature doesn’t show component on Front-end. Meanwhile, your site using SH404, and all link of JA K2 Filter is redirect to Homepage. So I just set SH404 ignore JA K2 Filter.

You can check on your site, Location is loading to new page with content now.

I just changed the setting in Backend >> JA K2 filter >> Option >> Item View Option >> set to Hide Author and Date Created.

No, it’s impossible. It relates to the workflow of JA K2 Filter and the ability to update newer version of this extension.

Now i get a different problem…

1) in the search page… the orange pop up content is empty… but all info is there .. just not shown.. and only in the search page.

2) How do i assign a module in the search results page… the one with "jak2filter" in the URL? Its showing a module that i dont want shown (i.e. my custom search bar)

Go to backend >> JA K2 filter Option >> Item View Options >> Set to show Extra Field.

Just assign it to appear on all page, Page that has "jak2filter" is not assigned to any menu item, so it’s hard to Assign module too.

What does "update indexing data" button do? What data is it updating and when do i need to press it?

This option is to update the total number of items for each Extra field, make searching faster.
Update indexing each time you upgrade, or change/add new K2 Item. You can set JA K2 Filter update automatically by go to: backend >> Component >> JA K2 Filter >> Option >> Update Indexing, set Update indexing Event to Yes, set Update indexing Cron to Yes, & set Update Indexing Interval time.

It’s because of setting show the Intro Text, just go to backend >> Component >> JA K2 Filter >> Item View Option >> Set to hide Intro Text.
