I have a problem to change the link color in template.css in the JA_Cooper_Business Template!

Here is the text from the template.css

a {
color: #465F28;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:hover, a:active, a:focus {
color: #465F28;
text-decoration: underline;

If i change the color in a. link it not works…

If i change the color in a:hover, a:active, a:focus link it works…

Where is the mistake…please help me…
