I have been playing around for about 2 hours or so trying to get the modules to look like those in the demo. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it. PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me!!

I saw the post about the suffixes but nothing changes if I add them. I have no idea what to do and am close to going insane.

I had to do a few mods to get the slide show to work. If anyone can help I’ll be so stoked. I’m operating on three hours sleep in 56 hours so may just be being thick!!

I used the _Menu suffix to get the modules look like the example. Simple yet effective. Thanks guys for excellent support!

Not sure which module you are on about and how you want it to look so it is hard to answer your question.

The best and fastest way for you to work it out yourself is to first install wamp on your desktop.

With this you then have a fully functioning local webserver for testing and working on as many sites as you wish. Simply download the faststart for your template and install it on your local machine. You will then have the demo site working on your desktopn and can very quickly look at any of the modules etc to see exactly how they’re achieved.

Did you install from Quickstart or just install the template? If you did not use the Quickstart my best advise would be to do so if you can. Be sure to also install the demo content. After you do this, your site will be an exact copy of the demo and you can make changes from there. Much easier than starting from scratch because everything is ready to go.

I’d like the modules to look like the screen capture attached. At least the menu to look like that. Ignore the other one. I would install all the sample data but really have come a bit to far to go reinstalling it.

    Hi skwtayler,

Did you solve this? Looks like you did (nice pics in your slideshow, btw). Did you use the suffix “_menu”?
If so, it might be helpful to mark this thread as “answered”.

    Thanks,

Ho Do I mark it as solved? I can’t find where to edit this.

Edit your first post where you will see a dropdown, set that to solved.

It is also helpful to show what you changed just in case someone else has the same problem.

Done. I found it under the advanced option! Thanks again!
