I have added a new menu item on the top navigation bar called Wine Awards at the website http://www.vivaasiamagazine.com

I managed also to create a new menu so that when you click on wine awards it opens a new page with a different navigation menu. All is good so far and it was great using all the documentation to work it out.

The only PROBLEM is once you click wine awards if you then click on ENTER AWARDS or the other menu items; when it opens that menu item it has the magazine navigation menu bar with the magazine menu items.

Have i missed an assignment somewhere so that this does not happen?

This link http://www.vivaasiamagazine.com/index.php/statistics/single-article/wine-list-awards works fine but if you click on Enter Awards it goes to this link http://www.vivaasiamagazine.com/index.php/statistics/single-article/enter-awards

The page is correct but then you see the original magazine menu appears not the wine awards menu?

Could someone point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks Jim

    Hi

<blockquote>The page is correct but then you see the original magazine menu appears not the wine awards menu?</blockquote>

Create a new template layout for menu item enter awards and in Navigation settings assign to it the menu wine awards

Create a new template -> assign to it Magazine layout -> In navigation assign as menu wine awards menu save it and in page assignments assign this new template to the menu item enter-awards

    Hi Pavit,

I just noticed an interesting thing. When you view the site on a samsung galaxy and click on Wine Awards you don’t get the menu option appearing in the drop down menu on a mobile phone?

Hi Pavit, still the same so when you go on your Samsung and click http://www.vivaasiamagazine.com and then click on Wine Awards that comes up ok. But if you go into the drop down menu none of the wine awards menu items show up.

Are you saying when you look on yours you get a separate menu for the wine awards?

Thanks. That is what I see as well. So it won’t display the separate Wine Awards menu?

it is not clear to me what you mean with separate menu , it shows menu item published in off-canvas position , if you want to display a new menu for that specific menu item simply create a new module menu , assign it the desired menu and publish it in off-canvas position and in page assignments assign it to the specific menu item (Wine Awards)
