    Hi all,

I’m testing a site in Joomla 1.5 and getting some problems with the transmenu at top.

On the dropdowns the URLs that are different for IE7 than for FF. The result is 404 errors in FF. Looks like FF is misinterpreting the & and is putting in “&” instead.

    IE7 – URL

    http://www.ovpathways.dataz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=35&Itemid=60

    FF2 – URL

    http://www.ovpathways.dataz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=35&Itemid=60

Any ideas on where to look here to fix this?

    This problem still exists.

I solved it by switching to #2 menu son of suckerfish instead of transmenu.

Not much support for these templates as far as I can tell, even though I paid for it, no one from JoomlArt has ever answered any of my questions in these forums.

The links for Transmenu do not work for me, either — got 404 file not found error. I’m using Firefox 2. Like you said, when I switched to Internet Explorer 6, the links work! So the codes are not working across browsers and that makes the Transmenu useless since I know at least half of my users will be using Firefox 2.

Has JoomlArt come out with a fix yet? It probably is a simple URL escaping problem.

    Hi guys
A possible solution – under Site | Global Configuration. Go to the SEO tab – and click “No” for “Site Friendly URLS”. Apply changes and test – should resolve.
