October 1, 2008 at 7:40 pm #133942Hi there,
I have a problem with trying to enable/disable the Menu Module: Split/Css/Moo/Dropline
I’m working on local by the moment
Firts I’ve installed a new joomla 1.5.7 version, then I installed the template and into
Extentions >> Template Manager, JA_Genista
when I try to change the menu to Moo (for example), I’ve this error:Parse error: parse error in c:program fileseasyphp1-8wwwmysitetesttemplatesja_genistaja_menusCSSmenu.class.php on line 11
Then I decided to install directly a quick version, and I have the same problem…
Anybody has any idea?…
I have also this message into the template manager, at left (I dont know if it is normal):
Menu Assignment
Menus: Cannot assign default template. Please I need some help with this
Thanks a lot

October 1, 2008 at 8:02 pm #273473Hi Menalto, thanks for your reply…
so on line 11 it says:
defined(‘_JEXEC’) or die(‘Restricted access’);
You said to use XAMPP… do you think that if I install direct on line I wont have this problem?
Do you think the problem is because I’m working on local? Thanks for reply you can bring me

October 1, 2008 at 8:24 pm #273475I dont think you get this problem on your live site.
But try out this here: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
I have used it for years and never had any sorts of problems with it.
I know many use WAMP as local server, but with bugs and errors…
With XAMPP i have never had any, only thing is to turn off Skype when you install it.1 user says Thank You to Menalto for this useful post

uuhhhmm I’m still having problems with this template
I’m using now XAMPP and same error…
Even using a quickstart of Genista there is no “navigation” in the menu
Sorry mate but I think there is a error or a bug with this template, anyone has any idea?
